Welcome to the pensieve for the first book!

This page was written by an American, so the book is referred to as The Sorcerer's Stone, and all page numbers are from the American Hard back edition. I have not listed all of the the more obvious well-known items to be found, though there are many of those here... Instead, this page is more along the lines of trivial, inconsequential things that might be easily overlooked.

One day I shall organise it better...

*Mr. Dursley works for a firm called Grunnings, which makes drills. [1]

*Mrs. Dursley has blonde hair. [1]

*The day after Voldemort's... setback... was a dull, grey, cloudy Tuesday. (Harry's parents died on a Monday night.) [2]

*Mr. Dursley knocks down a little old man in a violet cloak, who hugs him around the middle and calls him a muggle. (I rather think this was Dedalis Diggle, myself...) [5]

*Dumbledor wore high heeled, buckled boots. (Had to add that, I find it amusing to picture him in high heels...)[8]

*Dumbledor has blue eyes. [8]

*There are 12 street lights on Privet Drive. [9]

*McGonagall has black hair. [9]

*McGonagall blames the shooting stars in kent on one Dedalis Diggle, saying that he never did have any sence... [10]

*Nothing to celebrate for past 11 years. (I take this as a timeline for the beginning of Voldemort's rise to power.) [10]

*Dumbledor likes lemon drops. [10]

*Harry's parents lived at Godric's Hollow. [12]

*Dumbledor's watch is gold with 12 hands, no numbers, and little planets moving around the edge. [12]

*Sirius Black lent his motorbike to Hagrid to retreive Harry from the wreckage (and we hear naught else about this person for two entire books...) [14]

*Dudley Dursley had blonde hair. [18]

*Dudley has blue eyes. [21]

*Mrs. Figg lives two streets away. [22]

*Dudley's best friend is Piers Polkiss. [23]

*Mrs. Figg's whole house smells of cabbage. [22]

*The largest snake in the zoo could have wrapped its body twice around the Dursley's car. [27]

*The snake was a boa constrictor of Brazil. [28]

*All that Harry recalls of the "car wreck" that killed his parents and left his scar was a bit of pain and lots of green light... [29]

*Dudley's gang: Piers, Dennis, Malcom, and Gordon. [31]

*A tiny man in a violet top hat once bowed to Harry in a store. (The same tiny man with a violet cloak that Vernon knocked over?)[30]

*For secondary school, Dudley is to attend Vernon's old private school, Smeltings. Piers is to go also. Uniform consists of maroon tailcoats, orange knickerbockers, a flat straw hat called a boater, and a stick. [32]

*Harry is to attend a public highschool - Stonewall High. [32]

*Marge was vacationing in the Isle of Wight. [34]

*Name of the bartender of The Leaky Cauldron is Tom. [69]

*Harry's wand contains a feather from the same phoenix as Voldmort's wand, making the wands "brothers". (This also means Ollivander knows who Voldemort's real identity is, by the way...) [85]
